EDDI15 will be hosted by Statistics Denmark and the Danish Data Archive/National Archive of Denmark.

Statistics Denmark is the central, independent provider of official Danish statistics. The mission is to produce impartial statistics on society as the basis for democracy and the national economy. Statistics Denmark participates in international capacity building projects on all aspects of the statistical production from data collection to processing and dissemination. Statistics Denmark was founded in 1850.

Danish Data Archive (DDA) is part of the National Archive of Denmark. DDA is responsible for dissemination, sharing and re-use of the collection of (born digital) research data and administrative data. Users of data are primarily researchers, students and public authorities. DDA was founded in 1973 and has experience in providing services for collection, curation and dissemination of research data from social science and health science as well as international collaboration in these areas.

EDDI15 will be held at the Royal School of Library and Information Science (RSLIS), University of Copenhagen, in Danish: Det Informationsvidenskabelige Akademi (IVA). The RSLIS/IVA is located in Copenhagen at Amager, one of the main academic places of Denmark. Founded in 1956, RSLIS/IVA is an institute of the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Copenhagen and is engaged in research and education in Library and Information Science.

Public transportation

The nearest metro stations are:

Metro stations are indicated in the Google Map. The nearest bus stop is located on Amagerbrogade.

The website “Rejseplanen” is a travel planner where you can find the easiest way to get from one place to another by public transport. An application for “Rejseplanen” for mobile devices is also available (the app is also in English).

Transport from airports

Accommodation

Delegates are strongly encouraged to book their accommodation as soon as possible. The number of reserved rooms for EDDI participants is limited in both hotels.

Guests can cancel their orders up till one month before arrival. Afterwards it is only possible to get a percentage of the room cost refunded based on how close to the arrival date the cancellation occurs.
The terms are:
- 30 days before arrival: 100% cancellation free of charge
- 21 days before arrival: 50% cancellation free of charge
- 14 days before arrival: 25% cancellation free of charge
- 7 days before arrival: 10% cancellation free of charge
- 24 hours before arrival: 5% cancellation free of charge

How to get there from the central train station:
- Take the S-train E to Holte St. from track 9-10. The train comes every 2 minutes.
- Get off at Nørreport St. and walk for approximately 7 minutes before arriving at Ibsens Hotel.

How to get to the conference venue RSLIS/IVA from Ibsens Hotel:
- Walk to the Nørreport St. Metro and take the metro to Vestamager St. (M1). The metro takes approximately 10 minutes. The metro comes every 5 minutes.
- Get off at DR Byen St. and walk approximately 10 minutes before arriving at RSLIS/IVA.
OR
- Walk to the Nørreport St. Metro and take the metro to Vestamager St. (M1). The metro takes approximately 7 minutes. The metro comes every 5 minutes.
- Get off at Islands Brygge St., walk for approximately 5 minutes to Islands Brygge St., Universitetet and take Bus line 33 to Søvang, Rønnevej. The bus comes every 10 minutes.
- Get off at Tingvej and walk for approximately 6 minutes before arriving at RSLIS/IVA.

How to get there from the central train station:
- Exit the train station at Reventlowsgade/Istedgade and walk northwest before taking a right turn to Banegårdspladsen. Travel time is approximately 2 minutes.

How to get to the conference venue RSLIS/IVA from Hotel Astoria:
- Walk for approximately 10 minutes to Rådhuspladsen and take Bus line 33 to Søvang, Rønnevej. The bus comes every 10 minutes.
- Get off at Tingvej and walk for approximately 6 minutes before arriving at RSLIS/IVA.

The conference dinner takes place at Restaurant Julian at the National Museum of Denmark.

- Walk to the bus stop at Tingvej. Takes approximately 5 minutes. Take Bus line 33 to Rådhuspladsen. The bus comes every 12 minutes.
- Get off at Stormgade and then walk for approximately 5 minutes before arriving at The National Museum.
